At the start of a new year, some Christians may find it challenging to deal with disappointments from things that took place the previous year.

This is one of the many reasons why Pastor Poju Oyemade of The Covenant Nation (TCN) in Lagos Nigeria gathered some of the most powerful gospel ministries in the world last week to ignite faith among believers and also equips them for all-round success during the annual World Faith Believers Convention – WOFBEC.

The gathering was spread over six (6) days, starting 2nd January, 2024 at The Covenant Place – Iganmu, running under the theme: ‘Faith Moves Mountains’

Through Hebrews 4:3 and Psalms 27:13, Apostle Grace Lubega spoke to the congregation about the reality of entering God’s perfect rest, made possible through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

He explained that the journey of faith requires one to stay fixed and focused on “whose you are” and “who is in you”.

“The believer is seated in heavenly places in Christ far above all principalities and powers. Carry the consciousness of your position in Christ – you are far above the enemy and his cohorts. Believe it,” he told the congregation.

“Jesus did not walk on water to show off, but to prove that the principalities and powers of this world are under His feet. He’s trying to tell us that we are above all principalities,” he continued.

The leader of Phaneroo Ministries International stated that the demonstration of the power of God to bring deliverance and freedom in the lives of men is a clear representation of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

“Every display of a miracle, sign and wonder by the believer is to the end that men come to the knowledge of their true freedom in Christ,” he said.

Apostle Grace spoke of the benefits of being led by the Spirit of God.

“We cannot talk about the faith that moves mountains when we don’t have the revelation of the way of the Spirit, and the revelation of the heart of God when it comes to these things,” he said. “Without revelation you carry no redemptive power.”

“Every man working in faith must carry the vindication of the spirit. There is a place in life you get to that you don’t need to explain so much, but the anointing on your life will announce your results,” Apostle Grace Lubega said.

On his part, Pastor Emmanuel Iren, the Founder of Celebration Church International (CCI), headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria urged that “a faith focused on problems is elementary.”

He noted that all challenges believers face should be “drag to a higher realm” through prayer.

“There is an energy level where sicknesses cannot survive. There is an energy level where doors can not stay shut,” he said. “There is a dimension you get to where you no longer see the mountains.”

He urged that faith exalts the Word of God above any challenge.

Apostle Selman cautioned against the ignorance of Scripture, noting that as one’s mind is renewed according to the things of God, then he can know God’s perfect will.

In ignorance, there’s no victory for believers, he said.

“Most believers live defeated lives because they haven’t paid the price to acquire experiential knowledge,” he said. “When you get to know God, your perceptions are altered. The God you know is the one you reveal to your world.”

Other speakers included Apostle Arome Osayi, President, Remnant Christian Network, Dr. David Ogbueli, the General Oversee of Dominion City Church, Pastor Keion Henderson, Senior Pastor, The Lighthouse Church and Pastor Jerry Eze, President, Streams of Joy International.

Kenyan Bishop Julian Kyula also spoke at the gathering. Dunsin Oyekan, Victoria Orenze, Theophilus Sunday, Mercy Chinwo and David Dam ministered at the gathering through music.
